For the first time the catalogue organized as fully as possible all know data on the general issues of paper money of Imperial Russia (assignations, deposit notes, treasury notes, bank-notes) and regional state issues for Polish Kingdom and Grand Duchy of Finland. The information about the deposit metal receipts used on par with the state general issues is included. The catalogue present private notes (Russian-American Company, Russian-Chinese and Russian-Asian banks) being actually colonial issues under state control.
Considered also is the paper money of the Maltsov industrial district which was allowed into circulation alongside with the state notes satisfying the need of the trade turnover. Many sections have been developed for the first time and have not been published is similar editions dedicated to paper money of Russia. This catalogue will proved considerable help in practical collection of Russian paper money. The book will be also useful to a wide range of readers interested in the Russian bonistics (paper money) and history.
